It is completely random when you are playing against a real roulette but it is not 100% random when you are playing online against a computer. It's like playing slots. You could probably find a way to reverse engineer a casino random number generator and predict what the next number would be but untill then all you have in your favor is luck. So don't bet anything you can't afford to lose.

You're talking as though a roulette wheel will finish the day of spinning hitting on average 50% red and 50% black, but due to the very random nature of the game there's nothing to say a wheel can't finish with 30% red and 70% black one day, and 70% red 30% black on another.
